KAST Card vs Solid Card: which wins?
Cashback, annual fee, FX and ATM charges, custody and country availability — both cards on the same fields, taken from each issuer's published terms; each card page shows when its data was last verified.
How we rate them
Our own assessment, not a user rating — four criteria at 25% each, scored against each issuer's published terms. See the scoring model.
KAST has strong headline rewards, reaching up to 8% on its higher-end card offerings, and a free Standard option. However, the premium tiers are extremely expensive, higher rewards come with significant conditions, and much of the reward value is delivered in KAST Points rather than direct cash. The combination of high costs and restrictive access to the best rewards keeps KAST at 3.9/5 rather than making it a top-tier card.
Solid is a strong self-custody debit card, and its Wirex rollout opens it to the UK and the whole EU. Its 3% Core cashback in USDC needs no staking, and Prime's 4% can be reached by holding a Savings balance rather than locking tokens. The trade-offs are the $50/$100/$200 monthly cashback caps, a 2% total FX cost on non-USD purchases at Core, and a virtual-only card with no ATM access.

How they actually differ
- KAST Card is a credit card while Solid Card is a debit card — that changes how you fund it, not just what it pays.
- Rewards arrive in different assets: USD cashback + KAST Points on the KAST Card, USDC on the Solid Card.

A dash means the issuer has not published that figure — it does not mean zero. See our methodology for how each field is verified. Rewards and availability change often and vary by region. Not financial advice.
