PICK THE EU IF
You live in the EU and want to filter to cards that actually work here
You'd rather not read every issuer's terms just to check regional availability
You want to compare fees and rewards only among cards you can actually use
You're deciding between a local and an international-focused card
CHOOSE SOMETHING ELSE IF
!You're outside the EU and need a different region's page instead
!You need a card available in multiple regions, not just this one
!Your specific country within the EU may not be covered by every card listed
!You want guaranteed instant approval, which varies by issuer regardless of region

AVAILABILITY IN THE EU

Three things worth understanding

01
This page covers the EU and the EEA together

The EEA is legally the EU plus Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway — nearly the same single market, and issuers describe availability using whichever term they prefer. We merged what used to be two separate pages into this one so you see every card that names either, rather than checking two places.

02
Coverage within the EU/EEA still varies by card

"Available in the EU" doesn't always mean every part of it — some issuers cover the whole region, others only specific countries or states within it. Check each card's own region detail before assuming full coverage.

03
Issuers operate under different licenses

Some cards are issued as e-money products, others under a full banking license, in whichever country the issuer is regulated. This affects things like deposit protections and which local rules apply — worth checking per issuer, not assumed to be uniform.

04
Footprints change — Gemini closed its UK and EU card in April 2026

Gemini, for example, closed its UK and EU credit card in April 2026 after previously serving both markets. Confirm current availability directly with the issuer before applying, not just from this page.
