What changed, and when

Every card we add, update or re-check against the issuer's published terms, with the date it happened. Each card page shows its own last-verified date — this page lets you see what changed and when, instead of taking it on trust.

What these entries mean

Terms verified —
we re-read the issuer's published terms that day and confirmed the fees, rewards and availability on the card's page still match.
Added —
the card was added to the comparison.
Record updated —
the card's record changed. That covers a corrected fee and a fixed typo alike, which is why it is worded exactly that way rather than implying the terms moved.

We do not list field-level changes — "cashback cut from 3% to 2%" — because we store each card's current state and not its history, so we cannot show you a diff we can actually prove. Recording that history is a change we intend to make; until it is made, this page says only what its timestamps support. See our methodology for how each figure is checked.
