HOW BTC REWARDS WORK

Three things worth understanding

01
Rewards accrue in sats, not whole coins

A cashback rate paid in Bitcoin is credited in satoshis on each purchase, then aggregated — you're very rarely earning a meaningful fraction of a full BTC per transaction, especially on everyday spend.

02
Bitcoin's price moves, your reward's value moves with it

A reward paid in BTC carries the same price exposure as holding BTC directly. The percentage rate is fixed at the point of the transaction; what that reward is worth later depends entirely on price.

03
Where the BTC actually lands matters

Some issuers pay directly into a custodial balance you can withdraw on demand; others route it through a linked exchange account or a staking-style vault with its own terms. Check where the reward settles before assuming instant access.
