MEXC waived the 1% transaction fee on its Global Card from 31 August to 30 September 2026. From 1 October 2026, the fee applies to Global Card purchases again. MEXC says nothing else on the card's fee schedule changes that day.
What changes, and what doesn't
- MEXC Global Card: the 1% transaction fee on purchases returns from 1 October 2026.
- Cashback is unchanged: 4% to 10% in USDT depending on your tier, with a monthly cap at each tier.
- MEXC Card (APAC) is not affected. It keeps its own fees: 1% when USDT converts to fiat for a purchase, and a 1% cross-border fee on top of the Visa exchange rate.
What it costs in practice
The fee is charged on the purchase and the cashback is paid on it, so the net rate is roughly the cashback rate minus 1%, as long as you are within your tier's monthly cap:
- Entry tier (4%): about 3% net, or $45 a month on $1,500 of spending
- Premier (6%): about 5% net
- Top tier (10%): about 9% net
Once you reach your tier's monthly cashback cap, the 1% fee still applies but the cashback stops. On spending past the cap, the card costs 1%.
